Theresa Strohm hails from North Ridgeville, Ohio and is a graduate of Ohio State University where she majored in advertising and journalism and minored in psychology. After graduating, she worked in sales at a radio station for five years and then did pharmaceutical sales.
Theresa has always been involved in helping her community and served on the board of her local community, Hawks Nest Community, in Ohio.
After Theresa (Teri) moved to Carlsbad with her husband, Jason, and their two children, she continued her community service. She was involved in the PTA for her children’s elementary school. She also became the team mom for her son’s football teams and was eventually nominated to the Board for Pop Warner Football. When her son finished playing with Pop Warner, she switched to serving as the team mom of her daughter’s gymnastic team at SoCal gymnastics. After her daughter entered high school, they both became involved with the cheer program at La Costa Canyon High School where Teri was cheer mom.
Teri has been volunteering at OFNO since she moved to California in 2007 and became a parishioner at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church. Their family enjoys taking friends and family on volunteer trips to help at the orphanage. In the community, she has led a Girl Scout troop for the past 13 years,taught elementary religious education at St. Elizabeth Seton, helped with Mothers of Pre-Schoolers (MOPS.org), serves as a Minister of the Eucharist, a Lay minister to the sick, and volunteered with Parents for Teens.
In her spare time, Teri enjoys playing pickle ball and roller skating. She also loves to bake!
